£35k basic + Uncapped Commission | £70k + OTE | Mid-Devon
We’re working with a well-established logistics provider who is expanding their commercial team in the South West. They’re looking for a Business Development Executive with proven experience in logistics and B2B sales to drive new business and build strong client relationships.
This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, clear progression, and the chance to play a key part in future growth.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Business Development Executive:
* Driving new business by promoting logistics and shipping services to SME clients
* Identifying and pursuing opportunities via cold calling, networking, referrals, and events
* Delivering software demos and creating tailored solutions for prospects
* Negotiating contracts and onboarding new clients
* Supporting clients through the first 12 weeks of service to ensure a smooth start
* Analysing sales data and customer trends to inform strategy
* Attending client meetings, site visits, and regional networking events
Requirements of the Business Development Executive:
