General Description
The Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to contribute to an active programme of research within the department. Eligibility Criteria
* A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
* Demonstrable academic or research experience relevant to statistical analysis, modelling, or data science.
* Evidence of strong analytical and quantitative skills suitable for supporting advanced research activities.
Required Expertise/Skills
* Proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative research methods.
* Experience with statistical or programming tools commonly used in data analysis and computational research.
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for academic collaboration and research dissemination.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing research tasks and documentation.
Salary Details
£35,681 to £41,636 per annum.
