About This Role
We are recruiting for a Senior Agile Research Delivery Team Nurse who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. You will support the delivery of world class health research to improve people’s lives as part of the Agile Team based at the Lister Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruit participants into a wide range of research studies
* Obtain informed consent and conduct study procedures
* Collect baseline and follow‑up data in accordance with ICH GCP
* Support and champion health and social care research across non‑hospital settings such as primary care, community services, care homes and schools
* Perform occasional office‑based work
* Travel across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes as required
Qualifications & Requirements
The post holder must be a Registered Nurse (with a valid NMC registration) and possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience as a Research Nurse is highly desirable, but not essential; training can be provided. A wide range of clinical experience is important.

The Team is based at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage, and supports research across the following hospitals in the East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust:

* New Queen Elizabeth II (New QEII), Welwyn Garden City
* Hertford County, Hertford
* Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC), Northwood
