As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:Develop manufacturing processesDefining sequence of operations, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing and material handlingProviding basis of estimates for engineering activities and shop floor operationsIdentifying any new tooling & fixturing requirementsExperienced in the creation of Technical Requirement SpecificationsCreation of detailed process instructionsCreation of Manufacturing BOMs/routingsClose liaison of activities with Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering and other functionsSupport with the business process reviews and the generation/update of relevant documentationYour skillset may include:Detailed Assembly Processing knowledge (Electro-Mechanical, Bonding, etc...)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality improvement toolsExperience with CAD software for generating 2D technical drawingsSolid understanding of MRP systemsExperience managing BOMs and routings in SAP (or similar ERP systems)A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvementComposite processing knowledgeIf this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
