A specialist autism provision in Peterlee is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils aged 7–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition, sensory processing needs and communication difficulties.
The school promotes a structured, low-arousal environment, helping pupils feel safe, regulated and ready to learn.
Location:Peterlee
Hours:8:30am – 4:15pm
Daily Routine
• 8:30am start
• Structured lessons supported by visual timetables
• Regular sensory breaks
• Supervised social times
• 4:15pm finish
