Role Overview
The Operational Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day operational matters within their Discipline. They support the Discipline Lead in managing people, projects, clients, and business performance. The role involves fostering a client and project-centric culture, ensuring efficient delivery, and balancing client, staff, and commercial expectations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall: Support the discipline by promoting a client and project-centered culture, represent the business externally, manage risks and opportunities, and oversee project, commercial, and employee performance issues.
2. Operational Management: Lead teams in daily operations, monitor workload and resource utilization, support quality, health & safety, environmental, and corporate standards, and ensure compliance with SHEQ systems.
3. Project Delivery & Financial Management: Implement risk controls, support budgeting and forecasting, oversee project financial performance, and assist in bid reviews and pricing strategies.
4. Human Resources: Promote performance review processes, support career development, communicate recruitment needs, and handle staff performance issues.
Qualifications & Skills

* Knowledge of technical project delivery activities is preferred.
