A leading blue chip company is seeking to recruit a Workday Functional Analyst on a 12 month contract via umbrella, fully remote. Job Purpose: Drive and manage efficiency and accuracy of Workday Payroll Module for UK. As a member of the Tech Payroll Team be responsible for the analysis, configuration, and maintenance according to policies and Workday procedures. Key Responsibilities: Keep maintenance of already customized and configured the Payroll Module to meet the organization's specific payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. Analyze payroll related system configuration based on payroll team queries, identify discrepancies, and work on resolving issues in cooperation with other Workday product owners. Introduce system changes including Workday releases by testing and validating new payroll features. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Payroll Module related problems, working closely with UK payroll team and cross-functional teams. Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference. Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module to streamline operations.Skills: Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to details and a commitment to data accuracy Experience with Workday Payroll Module is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
