About the Role
This is a key role within the UK Corporate team, developing and maintaining online practical guidance, insight and materials for Corporate lawyers.
You will be joining a high-functioning team, producing an established market-leading product that covers a range of practical guidance know-how on corporate transactions such as private and public M&A, equity capital markets, private equity and corporate joint ventures, as well as company law relating to subjects such as share capital, corporate governance, directors and company meetings.
Responsibilities
1. create develop, and maintain a market-leading content set for the Corporate guidance module— devising and writing practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts and other materials
2. work closely with LexisPSL Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering, providing news and analysis of the highest quality
3. engage proactively with customers and contacts in the market to understand what they need from us and keep up-to-date with developments in practice
4. assist with customer questions via customer feedback or the LexisAsk service and develop Q&A materials
Requirements
5. corporate practice and company law – in particular public M&A and private M&A transactions
6. qualified lawyer/PSL with experience of working in a leading private practice law firm or a FTSE company law
7. ability to communicate complex legal concepts and their practical application concisely, clearly and in LexisPSL tone and house style
8. excellent research, organisation and planning skills, and a strong drive and ability to meet challenging objectives and deliverables
