MacKenzie King are currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a well-respected company in the Colchester area. As a Payroll Specialist, you will use your experience and knowledge to take ownership of the companys payroll function, working closely with both the finance and HR departments.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Running the end to end monthly payroll
* Accurately updating employee records using the payroll software
* Running payroll processes and reconciling reports
* Managing the payroll administration of employee benefits
* Answering a wide range of queries at varying levels of complexity
* Collaborating with teams within the firm and external contacts
Key Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years experience working within payroll
* Experienced using payroll software and Excel
* Takes pride in quality of work and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
* Strong initiative to take ownership of workload
