We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Operational Support Unit within the Division of Surgery. This role involves helping us maintain exceptional standards of care and service.

Main duties of the job
As Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Engaging with clinical and non-clinical staff to develop systems and processes that ensure high-quality services.
2. Collaborating with Heads of Service to meet national and service-specific targets.
3. Supporting the preparation of business plans and related business cases.
4. Developing and managing core business processes to achieve key results.
5. Driving business planning and service needs, with timely adjustments and information provision.
6. Identifying and implementing new business opportunities and innovative working methods.
7. Establishing benchmarking processes, utilizing internal and external data to measure performance.
8. Training staff in performance improvement tools and techniques to enhance efficiency.
9. Contributing to service development and transformation within the specialty area.
10. Providing business intelligence to support operational and strategic decisions.
11. Monitoring and analyzing data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and performance issues, and taking appropriate actions.
12. Ensuring accurate and timely data provision for reporting purposes.
13. Overseeing cost improvement schemes and ensuring delivery of quality and performance standards, including RTT.
