KS2 Intervention Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed KS2 Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with passionate schools in the M43 area, striving to develop children who are driven to achieve to the best of their ability. This school are looking for an additional teacher to work within KS2 to support pupils in Year 6 to bridge learning gaps in knowledge from Year 5.
The school have commented on their being flexibility with the start date with the view to aim for the end of September/ beginning of October and this position is required up until Christmas initially. After this point, the Senior Leadership Team will then review the impact and funding and may decide to extend the booking into the Spring term. As this is an intervention teacher, the role can be either on a part-time or full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creatively plan and deliver high quality, engaging intervention sessions across the curriculum, with provided learning outcomes and a progressive curriculum.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing next steps for learning and targeted support for all abilities and needs.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that values every learner.
* Safeguard all pupils and support their wellbeing.
* Identify and address gaps in learning to ensure smooth transitions across KS2 year groups.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Passionate about working with children and making a difference.
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, preferably UKS2.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
