Overview
Take a secondment as a Remarketing Specialist focused on used equipment and parts sales. This role provides exposure to machine and parts sales, valuation, and sales negotiation across domestic and export markets.
Responsibilities
* Manage the valuation process for trade-in machines and present valuations with appropriate backup data.
* Develop end-user/trade sales from enquiries for domestic and export markets.
* Analyse potential commercial risks in Guaranteed Buy Back/operating lease activities and report appropriately.
* Collaborate with Area Sales Managers, trade and retail customers to collate part exchange machine information.
* Review market information, historic sales data, trade contacts, valuation databases and auctions to prepare accurate values with backup data within agreed timescales.
* Support and liaise with Demo Inspectors, Plant Inspectors, and Area Sales Managers to ensure inspection processes are followed, collating and storing information.
* Monitor and check machines arrive in the agreed condition and specification.
* Manage the used equipment stock list and circulate to internal and external customers.
* Monitor and report on current offers/valuations and market changes, highlighting risks.
* Manage and negotiate deals with export and domestic customers, structuring deals in line with agreed profit retention and financial parameters.

* Experience negotiating and selling.
* Understanding of customer business needs and product offerings.
* Knowledge of SMT Systems (PROSIS, IDMS) preferred.
