This is a hands-on role within a static site environment, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works to ensure the safe, reliable and fully compliant operation of all electrical systems and critical power infrastructure.Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, you will provide high-quality electrical maintenance and fault-finding support across the site, working independently and alongside other engineers and approved subcontractors. The role operates within a high-profile, business-critical environment where electrical uptime, safety and compliance are paramount.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical works in line withSFG20, OEM guidance and statutory requirementsDiagnose and repair electrical faults across building services and client systemsSupport statutory inspections and testing includingEICRs, emergency lighting and PATMaintain and operateLV distribution systems, essential circuits, UPS and generator-backed suppliesEnsure strict compliance withSafe Systems of Work, including RAMS, LOTO, permits and isolationsAssist with contractor supervision and ensure works are completed safely and to required standardsAccurately record all works undertaken within the site CMMS (e.g. Archibus)Escalate risks, failures or compliance concerns to the Technical Services SupervisorParticipate in emergency and escalation response, including out-of-hours support when requiredMaintain professional standards and represent the organisation positively on siteSupport continuous improvement, energy efficiency and resilience initiativesHealth, Safety & ComplianceWork in full compliance with theElectricity at Work Regulations, BS7671 and Sodexo Global Engineering StandardsFollow site permit, isolation and LOTO procedures at all timesMaintain all required competencies, training and certificationsKey AccountabilitiesSafe and compliant delivery of electrical maintenance activitiesTimely resolution of electrical faults and defectsElectrical system reliability and reduced downtimeAccurate documentation and CMMS updatesPositive working relationships with clients, colleagues and contractorsAbout YouYou are a qualified electrician with strong fault-finding skills and experience working in commercial or facilities management environments.
