available, working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy, that provide services across residential and regeneration/mixed use sectors. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have experience working with cladding, fire safety and remediation projects. For this role, they are offering a salary of up to £50,000 + Car allowance.
Our client provide modern services, in the residential and regeneration sectors for local authority and residential clients. They are now looking for a Senior Clerk of Works, to join the team in Birmingham from February 2024 to work on high-rise residential buildings.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Monitor and inspect ongoing work, even that of dedicated sub-contractors and ensuring strict compliance with specific projects
2. Acting as the role of quality advocate by reporting any workmanship or material instances that fall short of specific quality standards
3. Reporting these specific instances directly to the Project Directors
4. Maintaining a thorough diary of work progress, identifying potential delays, below standard workmanship, and environmental conditions
5. Offering, when necessary, practical, and expert advice to the Project Manager which include valuable insights.
Required Skills & Experience
6. Experience with cladding, fire safety, and remediation projects
7. MICWCI/LICWCI/ICWCI is preferred
8. Specialist NHBC Level 3 or 4 is an advantage
9. Full UK Driving License.
