Duties: Manage PeopleSoft Finance suite of applications, environments and ancillary systems and integrations. Lead a team of developers/analysts in the requirements, design, development, test, and deployment phases of ERP and integrated systems solutions and service delivery. Engage and manage globally distributed teams, provide hands-on management, mentoring, and coaching of resources and drive annual goals. Work with external vendors to source, negotiate and manage contract resources and solution services. Provide process and thought leadership to develop policies, procedures and standards based on IT best practices and ensure their conformance with departmental and enterprise objectives. Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to analysts and software developers and effectively resolve production problems in a timely manner. Propose, lead and implement scalable, sustainable and cost-effective solutions meeting internal customers objectives. Ensure appropriate disaster recovery procedures are in place and adequately tested on a regular basis. Ensure compliance to corporate security, audit and risk management policies. Define, collect, track and report metrics and ensure high quality of reported data. Define and manage project scope, schedule, quality, deliverables and post-project measurements. Work from home permitted 1-2 days per week. Must work at employers office in Jersey City, NJ other days Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; plus 5 years of related experience. Requires 5 years of experience in the following: 1) PeopleSoft Finance modules: GL, AP, Purchasing, Billing, AR, AM, Contracts, Project Costing, Order Management; 2) Databases including Oracle SQL, PS Query, SQR and PS Security; 3) Software development life cycle; 4) Migrating PeopleSoft to an IaaS or SaaS cloud solution; 5) Business relationship management; 6) Managing a global team of developers and analysts; 7) PeopleSoft PUM upgrades; 8) PeopleSoft PIA, PeopleTools, Integration Broker, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Upgrade/Change Assistant; 9) Documenting requirements, design, development, integration, test plans, migration/cutover plans and ongoing documentation of processes and change modifications; and 10) Supporting PeopleSoft in a SOX regulated environment.
