Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant Location: Enfield Salary: £28,000 £33,000 (dependent on experience) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant to join our clients growing business based in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in administration and finance support to take on a varied role with long-term stability. The Role As Finance Assistant, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a hands-on role where youll be involved in purchase and sales ledger, reconciliations, and supporting the wider finance team with reporting and month-end tasks. Responsibilities Processing invoices, expenses, and supplier payments Managing accounts payable and receivable Bank reconciliations and supporting with month-end close Credit control and debtor management Assisting with VAT returns and compliance tasks Preparing reports and ad-hoc financial analysis Providing administrative support across the finance function About You Previous experience in a finance/accounts support role Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications Great communication skills, able to liaise with suppliers and internal teams Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Experience with Xero is desirable but not essential training can be provided Whats on Offer Salary between £28,000 £33,000 depending on experience Permanent, full-time role with career development opportunities A supportive and collaborative working environment Office-based role in Enfield If you are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant looking for your next permanent opportunity, wed love to hear from you.
