Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

A well-established Further Education college in Northampton is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join its vibrant Hospitality and Tourism team. This long term, full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to shape learners' futures in an exciting and dynamic sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging, interactive lessons across a range of Travel and Tourism qualifications (Levels 2-4)
2. Teach theoretical concepts alongside practical skills relevant to the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries
3. Support learners' progression through thorough planning, assessment, and constructive feedback
4. Encourage awareness of sustainable tourism, customer service excellence, and current industry trends
5. Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement within the department
What We're Looking For:
6. A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Travel and Tourism or a closely related discipline
7. A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
8. Relevant industry experience or prior teaching/training experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and support learners
10. A commitment to helping students progress into employment, apprenticeships, or further study
Desirable:
11. Experience working within an FE or training environment
12. Assessor or IQA qualifications
