A leading engineering company is looking for an experienced CNC Machining Centre Operator to join its growing team in Fife. You will be working both day and night shifts, on a rotating basis.

What youll be doing as CNC Machining Centre Operator
You will take responsibility for operating CNC machining centres, producing high-precision components whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
Operating CNC machining centres using Mazak or Okuma controls
Understanding and working from engineering drawings and specifications
Reading, understanding, and adjusting CNC programs
Writing basic programs or macros for standard features
Machine complex oil & gas components
Working with materials including Inconel, Duplex, and Carbon Steels
Applying correct cutting parameters
Carrying out 100% inspection of your own work
What were looking for in a CNC Machining Centre Operator
Extensive experience in a CNC machining environment
Experience with Mazak or Okuma controls
Ability to work on your own initiative
Experience working on high-value components
Knowledge of Inconel, Duplex, and Carbon steels
Strong attention to detail
Working hours
Dayshift: MonThu 07:00 17:15 (39 hours)
Nightshift: MonThu 20:30 07:00 with 06:00 finish on Fridays
