Power Platform Technical Specialist
The role of the Power Platform Technical Specialist revolves around the hands-on development, implementation, and optimization of solutions within the Power Platform ecosystem, encompassing Canvas and Model-Driven apps, Copilot Studio, and integration with various data sources. You will engage directly in the technical crafting of applications, working both independently and collaboratively within the business applications team to bring client visions to life. Support and guidance will be readily available from the Solution Architect and Project Manager assigned to each project, alongside the collective wisdom and expertise of the broader professional services teams at Trustmarque. Familiarity with the Microsoft stack, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure, is beneficial but not required at the start. What's essential is your willingness to learn and grow in these areas, alongside an openness to understanding both cloud and on-premises technologies. This position serves as a launchpad into the world of Power Platform development, offering a unique blend of technical challenges and learning opportunities. The position is primarily remote, catering to flexibility and autonomy in your workflow. However, it does require occasional face-to-face interactions at client sites or during company events, based on the needs of our projects and the dynamics of our team collaboration. Responsibilities
Develop robust solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), integrating a variety of data sources to meet complex business needs. Employ Copilot Studio for the creation of intelligent bots, enhancing application interactivity and user engagement. Utilize a diverse range of data connectors and services, ensuring seamless integration and data synchronization across applications. Apply best practices in testing methodologies to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions. Leverage Azure DevOps boards for effective project management, tracking tasks, and collaborating within agile development processes. Essential Knowledge & Skills
Minimum of six months experience developing with Canvas and Model-Driven apps Knowledge of integrating various data sources with Power Platform applications Skilled in both development using Copilot Studio, with a focus on creating responsive and intelligent conversational agents. Desirable Knowledge & Skills
Experience with additional data services and connectors available within the Power Platform ecosystem. Proficient in using Azure DevOps boards for project tracking and agile development, facilitating team collaboration and sprint planning. Understanding of front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for enhanced UI development. Capability to adapt to new technologies and tools within the rapidly evolving Power Platform environment. Qualifications
Demonstrated interest and capability in Power Platform development, ideally supported by examples of projects (personal, academic, or professional) to highlight creativity and problem-solving. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Power Platform Developer Associate, with an emphasis on continued professional development.
