Interim Accounts Assistant – Cheltenham

You’ll be based in their stunning Cheltenham office, a modern, welcoming space with free on-site parking, joining a friendly finance team of seven.
Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements
* Managing purchase ledger entries and resolving queries
* Assisting with payment runs and maintaining accurate records
* Supporting month-end processes
* Using Excel for data analysis and reporting
This is an interim position, starting ASAP, for an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend. You’ll benefit from one day working from home per week.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong Excel skills
* Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
