Role Summary The role of Senior Payroll Advisor is to support the Payroll Manager in maintaining all relevant payroll information so that our third-party providers can pay all employees correctly and at the right time. Provide proactive support to the wider People Team with a specific focus on data transfer/integrity and continued systems improvements. Role Responsibilities
1. Initial run and checking of monthly UK, ROI and Channel Island payrolls ¿ approx. 1400 hourly and 700 salaried employees
2. Liaising with external payroll bureaus to complete payrolls
3. Answer payroll queries from employees
4. Own expenses processes
5. Liaise with all departments within the People Team to ensure data is transferred and processed in correct timescales and accurately.
6. Own the maternity and paternity process
7. Ensuring payrolls are posted and reconciled in the Finance Systems
Skills and Experience
8. Minimum of 2 years payroll experience
9. Knowledge of Access PeopleXD is an advantage
10. Administrative skills - proficient in office package. Able to manage data from a variety of sources, audit and maintain accurate records.
11. A concern for quality and delivering services to a high standard.
12. Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.
13. Ability to work on own initiative.
14. Excellent oral and written communications skills
