Location: Redford Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 0PP
Pay: £14.00 per hour (£25,567.22)
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week. 5 days over 7 (alternate weekends)
Shifts: Early (06:00-13:30) or Late (11:30-19:00)

Working closely with the Catering Manager, ensuring menus are followed correctly and high standards of food are being served, ensuring every dish is exceptional.

What you'll do:
* Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away.
* Prepare dishes to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
* Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control.
* Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team.
* Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans.
* Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
What we're looking for:
* UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work.
* Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
* Strong Leadership, kitchen management, and culinary skills.
* Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high volume customers SVQ Level 2&3
* Calm under pressure, organised, and ready for a trade test.
