People Advisor, Selby
Circa £40,000 per annum
4 days per week on site
We are looking for an experienced People Advisor who is looking to make a real impact within a values-driven manufacturing business in Selby. Reporting into the MD and partnering closely with the Operations Manager, the People Advisor will support all aspects of employee relations, culture, and engagement. Working closely with managers and staff on the ground, you’ll play a vital role in shaping a positive workplace culture, resolving day-to-day HR queries, and driving engagement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide expert guidance and support on ER issues, including disciplinary, grievances, and performance management.
* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
* Work closely with managers and team leaders to support them with their people needs.
* Promote learning and development opportunities for employees at all levels.
* Develop and communicate people policies and procedures in line with best practices and company values.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a HR or People Advisor.
* CIPD Level 5 qualified desirable.
* A deep understanding of culture and engagement strategies.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A values-driven approach to leadership and decision making.
This is a great opportunity for a HR professional looking to work for a company with true values on a part-time basis. This is an on-site role, 4 days per week, offering circa £40,000 depending on experience.
