Overview

The Home Office Vision is "That all Police forces in England and Wales have the best crime recording system in the world, one that is consistently applied; delivers accurate statistics that are trusted by the public and puts the needs of victims at its core"

Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies Chief Officers describe that "Having accurate and trusted data is important in making the right decisions to ensure victims get the services to which they are entitled and offenders are held to account for their actions" The Crime Registrar is at the heart of this and their role is to ensure the integrity of Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies’ crime and incident data and ensure compliance with National Standards for incident and crime recording acting as the final arbiter for the force in respect of recording and determining outcomes.

So, if you want to do something a little bit different and extremely worthwhile, read on.
