Senior Resuscitation Officer role within the Resuscitation Service on our West Middlesex site. We are seeking a dynamic team player with strong clinical credibility and a passion for education, training, and quality improvement. The post holder will play a key role in delivering and developing a high quality, responsive resuscitation service, supporting staff across the Trust to meet national standards and best practice.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical intervention for patients who are at risk of deterioration.
* Provide senior advice and clinical consultancy to the multidisciplinary team in resuscitation practice.
* Ensure the provision of resuscitation training within the Trust meets national and local standards.
* Enhance the quality of the patient experience by providing high level training and supervision to develop nursing staff and multi‑professional staff knowledge and skills.
* Provide expert Resuscitation advice as a member of the Trust‑wide Resuscitation Group.
* Manage resuscitation training and service developments in this area as part of the senior resuscitation team.
* Provide strategic advice to ensure patients receive appropriate evidence‑based resuscitation interventions and determine pathways of care from a range of options.
* Be responsible for researching the effectiveness of resuscitation practice across the Trust.
* Support the implementation of training and development related to resuscitation practice.
* Play a key role in planning care and delivery of interventions within the remit of resuscitation practice.
* Act as an expert member of relevant Trust‑wide committees, providing specialist resuscitation advice.
* Deliver all aspects of resuscitation care with day‑to‑day oversight for resuscitation officers and maintenance of internal governance for resuscitation events.
Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.
