SEN Tutor – Middleton (M24)
Have you got the patience, creativity, and resilience to support pupils with additional needs outside of the classroom? At TP Tutors, we’re recruiting experienced SEN Tutors to work 1:1 with learners in Middleton (M24) who need tailored support to re-engage with their education.
Our pupils may be out of school due to anxiety, SEND, or other barriers. As their tutor, you’ll deliver face-to-face sessions in safe local settings — either in the home or a community space such as the library. It’s about more than subject knowledge; it’s about building trust, creating a positive learning environment, and helping each learner move forward at their own pace.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis
* Adapting teaching strategies to match learning styles and emotional needs
* Delivering personalised tuition in core subjects
* Helping pupils rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning
* Providing short progress reports for parents or local authorities
Requirements
* Have experience working with SEN learners (school, tuition, or care background)
* Are adaptable, patient, and able to motivate reluctant learners
* Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply)
* Want to make a real difference to young lives in your community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
