Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team in Keighley, United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and provide a sincere welcome, ensuring they know you're available to assist
* Ask open-ended questions to understand customer needs and preferences
* Recommend and locate appropriate merchandise based on customer requirements
* Inform customers about current in-store offers, promotions, and store cards
* Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
* Stay updated on the latest trends and maintain comprehensive product knowledge
* Create and maintain a customer-friendly environment at all times
* Deliver high-level customer service consistently
* Educate customers about our brand, products, and services
* Suggest alternatives and additional items to increase sales when appropriate
* Ensure store standards are met and the store is prepared for the next business day
* Comply with all company policies and procedures
* Note: Hours may vary because this is a zero-hour contract
