A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager for a highly regarded medicines wholesaler —part of an international group with Headquarters in Naples, with operations across Europe, the USA, and Singapore. From their base in Camberley, they support the supply of high-quality medicines and clinical trial products worldwide. This is a hybrid role 2-3 days based in Camberley office.
With exciting growth ahead, we’re looking for a Procurement Manager who thrives on building supplier relationships, driving value, and ensuring smooth global supply chains.
What You’ll Do
As our Procurement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening supply base and improving margins. You’ll:
* Build and manage strong supplier relationships, ensuring performance and reliability.
* Analyse spend on resale products to identify cost-saving and margin opportunities.
* Source new procurement channels and supplier routes for UK-origin products.
* Support global requests for clinical trial and human care products with competitive quotes.
* Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with procurement and quality standards.
* Work cross-functionally with sales, logistics, and finance to deliver seamless operations.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone with drive, precision, and proven procurement expertise in pharmaceutical wholesaling. You’ll bring:
* Ideally a Minimum 2 years’ procurement experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
* A diploma or degree (procurement certifications are a plus).
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAGE experience a bonus.
* A structured, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
* Strong communication and people skills to collaborate across teams.
* Experience with clinical trial procurement or export processes is highly desirable.
* Competitive salary: £50k–£55k DOE
