We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Director to join one of the leading privately owned main contractor’s in London. This well-established contractor has been operating for more than 20 years and has an annual turnover of circa £200M. This contractor is known for their wealth of construction and engineering experience creating a positive work environment and excellent staff retention. The majority of this client’s projects are in central London and the surrounding home counties and are predominantly cut and carve, new build, heavy and structural refurbishments and fit out across a range of sectors including, commercial, leisure, retail, hospitality, education, private homes, residential development, and historical buildings.
The role of the Operations Director will be focusing on approximately four projects at any one time of a total of around £40M-£50M, with an input in to preconstruction. The ideal candidate should be very delivery focused, offering a hands-on approach to support their team on site. You should have a broad range of experience across different construction sectors and have a strong cut & carve and refurbishment background. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to assess and resolve problems that arise efficiently and effectively.
