The Role
We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our marketing team for a three-month summer placement, focused exclusively on social media. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll gain real-world experience managing and creating content for a global B2B brand.
You’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing Executive to plan, create, schedule and analyse content across our social channels, helping us showcase projects, products, people and behind-the-scenes moments.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with planning and scheduling content across our social media channels
* Create engaging social media copy aligned with brand tone and messaging
* Design simple graphics and visuals using tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite
* Support the creation of short‑form video content (reels, clips, animations)
* Monitor engagement, comments and messages, escalating where appropriate
* Help track performance and prepare basic analytics reports
* Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas
* Support campaign activity, launches and event-related content
What We’re Looking For
* A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Design or similar
* Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
* A strong interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation
* Familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X)
* Basic design or video skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc. – not essential but a plus)
* Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
* An interest in engineering, construction or infrastructure is beneficial but not required
