Your day-to-day work will blend company offices, client sites and home, with a balance that meets business needs. 100% remote is not possible.
Responsibilities
* Partner with senior leaders, including CxOs, to advise on large‑scale transformation deals and complex programmes within Cloud and Platform Engineering.
* Build and nurture long‑term relationships with clients and internal teams, creating shared value and trust.
* Apply technical expertise to design innovative, practical solutions for complex challenges.
* Represent the CIS Advisory team in key forums, contributing to strategic initiatives and thought leadership.
* Collaborate across diverse teams, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous learning.
Skills & Experience
* Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (certifications are a plus).
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Strong understanding of cloud strategy, platform engineering and operating models, with hands‑on experience in automation, containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and FinOps.
* Ability to translate business needs into scalable, user‑centric cloud solutions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on inclusive leadership and team empowerment.
* Growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement for yourself, your team and your clients.
Security Clearance
Successful appointment requires Security Check (SC) clearance, which necessitates residents of the United Kingdom for the past five years and compliance with additional security criteria.
