Must be flexible to work between Monday - Sunday, including alternate weekends.

Role Overview
An activity coordinator in our care home is like the chief fun officer. They create a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere for our residents by planning exciting events and hobbies such as arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes. They work closely with residents and care teams to develop tailored activity plans, ranging from gentle exercises to garden parties, fostering laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences. Activities are also therapeutic, including meditation and wellbeing classes, to boost residents' spirits and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
* Produce and update an activity planner within the set budget.
* Organise birthday surprises for residents.
* Liaise with external companies and performers for events and days out.
* Arrange one-to-one sessions with residents, including reminiscing, puzzles, reading, or chatting.
* Support the home's social media channels as required.
Key Skills / Qualifications
Creative thinker with management skills, able to handle budgets and paperwork, and prioritize effectively. Passionate about caring for others, with a sense of humour and enthusiasm for making lives better.
