Our partner schools provide practical on:the:job training and ongoing support from a team of experienced staff. In this term:time role, you will have the chance to explore your passion for education by assisting students aged 4:11, contributing to their social, emotional, and academic growth. If you have experience working with children or a background in caregiving, a teaching assistant role might be the perfect next step for you. This is a contract position offering a long:term opportunity with full:time hours. Benefits Access to a range of e:learning courses and knowledge libraries. An exciting referral bonus where you can earn GBP300 in Love2Shop vouchers for referrals you make (T and Cs) Work with specialist and experienced team members Progression opportunities in your role Flexibility to work with a range of ages, across different year groups Responsibilities Collaborate with teachers to work with groups of children. Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records. Attend to childrens personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters. Engage with teachers, caregivers, and parents to monitor student development. Support children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to facilitate their learning. Be a positive role model for students and staff. Requirements Experience working with children. Genuine passion for working with children. Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English. Enhanced child DBS (we can assist if you dont already have one). Classroom and behaviour management skills. Patience to support pupils in understanding lessons and engaging in activities planned by the teacher. Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided).
