Job Description
My client is a prestigious, well-established law firm located in the heart of Central London seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join their busy property team.Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting solicitors with residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Preparing legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfers
* Conducting property searches and preparing reports
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
* Managing case files from instruction to completion
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm policies
* Providing general administrative support to the property team
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a residential property paralegal role (minimum 1-2 years)
* Some commercial property experience would be beneficial but not essential
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Proficiency in using case management systems
