Do you have an eye for detail, maybe a creative flair, do you love meeting a diverse range of people and are a team player? If so, then Benchmarx Kitchen and Joinery would love to hear from you! Ever thought of being a Contracts Kitchen Designer? You don't need to come from our sector, or even know our products, we will provide you with all the training and development you need.
Our most successful Contracts Kitchen Designers come from a variety of sectors and backgrounds, but they all share one thing in common: they deliver an exceptional ‘Customer Experience’ for both Trade Customers and Homeowners.
Having a full UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 12 months is essential for this role, but don't worry, we will provide you with a company car.
What experience do I need?
You will be joining our Contracts Sales Team, which is over 30 strong, and you will be supported by a wealth of sector experience. We support major Public Sector contracts within the Norfolk region.
Full training is provided, so no previous experience is necessary. Your duties will include surveying, measuring kitchens, and using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) to produce plans that meet client specifications. You will work on Social Housing contracts, conducting surveys in both vacant and tenanted properties. This is a hybrid role: you will visit sites, work in branches, or from home.
Hours: 4 full days, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. No weekend work. Flexible working days available.
What’s in it for you?
* Excellent salary package
* Car on the EBS Scheme
* Colleague discounts at various group businesses, including 20% off at Toolstation and online discounts at leading retailers
* Family-friendly policies and a good work/life balance
What will I be doing?
Full product and CAD training will be provided during onboarding. Your responsibilities will include visiting residential properties, sometimes traveling up to 3 hours a day (mileage paid), building relationships with customers, and delivering high standards of service. You will produce accurate plans and quotes, understand client needs, and design kitchens using CAD to secure sales.
Safety is a priority; a Lone Working Device will be provided for your safety.
What experience do you need?
Previous industry knowledge is not required. We seek transferable skills, excellent customer service, teamwork, initiative, organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a methodical approach. A friendly, outgoing personality with drive and energy is essential, along with being a self-starter and team player.
