As a key player in our logistics team, the Goods Out Manager will oversee all outbound operations to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfilment within our fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding a dedicated team, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
* Manage the outbound logistics processes, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
* Lead and mentor a team of warehouse operatives, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
* Monitor and enforce strict quality control standards during the picking and packing processes.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in outbound operations.
* Analyse performance metrics to drive operational improvements and assess team performance.

Requirements
* Proven experience as a Goods Out Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Deep understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
* Forklift certification is a plus.
