Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Traffic Management Designer, you will play a pivotal role within our Construction Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of complex construction engineering services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Checking and approving temporary traffic management (TTM) plans for both low-speed and high-speed designs
* Assisting Principal TM Designers with:
o Tender and bid-winning support, including outline design schemes and feasibility studies focused on buildability and innovation
o Technical assessment and review of third-party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements
o Resolving technical project issues, including incident investigations and rectification analysis
o Conducting site visits, surveys, and inspections while reporting on SHE issues
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have completed IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent progress) with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE)
* You possess knowledge of traffic management from a design perspective, holding Level 6 or Level 7 qualifications along with significant relevant experience
* You are willing to travel to various offices and sites
