We're looking for a Claims Handler to join a friendly, fast-paced team in Rochdale, supporting clients through the claims process from first notification to resolution. The Role You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of claims from start to finish, ensuring each client is supported back to their pre-accident position-either through vehicle repair or settlement. Key responsibilities include: Handling inbound calls from clients referred by trusted partners Taking full and accurate details of new claims Assessing claim validity and recoverability of losses Managing allocated claims proactively through to completion Ensuring claims progress efficiently to support successful recovery Delivering a consistently high level of customer service throughoutThis is a phone-based role, so a professional, empathetic telephone manner is essential. What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills A proactive, "can-do" attitude Ability to manage multiple claims with attention to detail Confidence making decisions based on the information provided Nice to Have (But Not Essential) Knowledge of ABI / GTA Familiarity with the phonetic alphabet Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Basic understanding of internet-based systems Full training is provided, so attitude and potential matter just as much as experience.
