Job: Mechanical Project Engineer
Job Description – To facilitate improvement projects from conception to completion in accordance with existing legislative and mill standards in order to ensure compliance. To support and implement CAPEX projects in accordance with existing legislative and mill standards in order to ensure compliance. To actively participate in site engineering and maintenance duties when required.
* Management of improvement projects from concept to completion.
* Technical support of CAPEX projects during scoping and execution phases.
* Ensure compliance with current legislation and standards.
* Comply with mill Safety, Quality and Environment standards.
* Contractor Management – Selection of contractors in compliance with site standards.
* Supervision of contractors ensuring H&S regulations and site technical standards are followed.
* Participate in feasibility studies and surveys, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Provide technical information to site departments and external contractors.
* Register and archive the technical documentation generated and/or received from 3rd party companies at end of project.
* Support site engineering and maintenance functions.
Work Experience – Project Management
Education – Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering
