As part of the Talent, Communication, and Culture team, the Communications Co-ordinator plays a vital role in supporting our Communications Manager to execute our communication and marketing strategies. This position focuses on enhancing our External Communications & Marketing efforts.
This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work from home and our head office in Swindon, with flexible and part-time options available.
About the Role
* Assist in delivering the marketing and communication strategy and plans
* Craft engaging content for print and digital platforms, including our website, newsletters, intranet, and award entries
* Provide administrative support in budget planning and monitoring
* Stay updated on social media trends to offer insights and recommendations
* Research and write press stories and website content
* Monitor press coverage and collaborate with the customer service team
* Support the Growth team by developing relevant marketing materials
* Create on-brand images and graphics for internal and external use
* Manage ticketing requests while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs)
* Promote the Smiths News brand, ensuring all materials align with our brand guidelines
