The package on offer would be:Salary Starting at £34,955 and upon successful completion of probation will increase to £36,440.Working Hours 35 Hours per week with an option to work flexibly and in addition consolidated hours by compressing these over two weeks 35 hours in 9 days giving an additional day off every two weeks.Place of Work The role will be a hybrid role where you will be able to work from home in a remote manner. This will mean that there will be very limited requirements to attend the office, but the role will be classed as flexible with a defined office. However, there will be a requirement to attend the office for staff events, pertinent meetings, site visits and procurement activities that require face-to-face that cannot be met by remote working.Holidays 26 days’ annual leave, increasing to 29 after three years, with the opportunity to buy more and flexible bank holidays take them when it suits youPension You can elect to pay between 3% and 5% of your pensionable salary each month and PA Housing Ltd will contribute double; the maximum amount the PA will pay is 10%.Benefits Health cash plan and a discount portal where staff can select different discounts for multiple categories and stores such as travel, fashion, entertainment and many more.Development PA Housing will commit after completion of probation in developing your knowledge by supporting with Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 2.What you’ll be doingLead on end-to-end procurements for low and mid-value procurement activity (£25,000+)Responsible for maintaining and updating the strategic procurement plan and pipelineSupport and guide colleagues on low value procurements (quotations and direct award) by assisting with scoping documentation, quotation documents and approval to awardsTake the lead on managing the process for new procurement request, new supplier request and contract uploadsManage the on-boarding of suppliers via thorough robustness checks of new supplier requests and supplier informationMaintain the procurement hub, spend report, contract register and procurement planPrepare information to support with the completion of the quarterly procurement report and procurement risk registerWhat we’re looking forWe’re after someone who’s confident, collaborative, and supportive but also detail-focused and driven by outcomes.You’ll need:Experience of working in a procurement function and able to demonstrate your ability and understanding of delivering strong supportExcellent advanced knowledge and practical experience of using Microsoft Excel and in particular conditional formatting, pivot tables and ‘V Look Up’Knowledge and minimal practical experience of delivering low level procurementsExperience in using e-procurement platforms and P2P systemsWillingness to learn and developKnowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 awareness of relevant public sector legislationA proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and a ‘can do’ attitudeIf you hold specific qualifications relevant to the role, please upload them with your application.Who will you be working forPA Housing remains inspired by the heritage of our legacy organisations but looks to the future as we continue to do the best for our residents.
