Salary: £42,500 per annum
Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday – Friday

1. Support the consistent application of the EMCOR commercial framework across BBC projects, including customer contracts, risk awareness, and compliance with legal requirements.
2. Assist in improving project profitability by supporting cost control, identifying opportunities, and contributing to negotiations.
3. Contribute to reducing commercial risk and maximising value by monitoring costs, variations, and potential opportunities on a project by project basis.
4. Assist in preparing monthly commercial and financial analysis for review by the project management team.
5. Provide support in developing commercial inputs for business proposals.
6. Assist in preparing and managing negotiations, variations, valuations, interim applications, contract notices, final accounts, and retentions for both customer and subcontractors.
7. Ensure all commercial activities comply with CDM regulations, the Building Safety Act (BSA), and any other related statutory obligations.
8. Assist in managing digital capability by ensuring the effective use, integration, and continuous improvement of PPM tools, cost platforms, commercial dashboards, and programme data solutions. Assist in the preparation, management, and reporting of project budgets, cost plans, and lifecycle/capital expenditure forecasts. Support commercial governance processes, ensuring alignment with organisational financial controls and audit requirements. Prepare and analyse cost data, valuations, final accounts, and change requests in accordance with recognised cost management practices. Ensure compliance with relevant procurement controls and internal procedures. Use PPM systems, digital cost platforms, commercial dashboards, and programme data tools to maintain accurate, real-time information. Contribute to continuous improvement by promoting data driven decision making and efficient digital workflows. Collaborate with project managers, clients, engineers, FM teams, suppliers, and contractors to support effective end-to-end project delivery. Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve commercial queries, support decisions, and maintain strong working relationships. Operate effectively within a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment.
