This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal secretary or a strong secretary/PA with audio‑dictation experience looking to develop their career within a law firm environment.
This is a float role, supporting multiple fee earners across the department rather than working with one individual and you will be a valued and integral part of the wider team.

You will provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Residential Property department in a fast‑paced, transactional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents using digital audio dictation
* Managing the flow of correspondence and documents in and out of the department
* Scanning, emailing and filing documents, including opening and closing files
* General file management and document organisation
* Answering telephone calls, taking messages and handling initial enquiries
* Providing support across the wider secretarial team when needed during busy periods or absences
Person Specification
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a law firm (Residential Property experience desirable but not essential)
* Strong audio dictation skills (essential)
* Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experience with a Practice Management System are advantageous
* Excellent written English, grammar and attention to detail
* The ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
* Will also consider experienced Secretaries / PA and EA with substantial audio dictation experience, ideally from a professional services or legal environment
