We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Solicitor or Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This role is suited to a dedicated professional with a strong family law background who can manage matters with minimal supervision while delivering a high standard of client care. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters and will be expected to demonstrate sound legal judgement, professionalism, and a client-focused approach at all times.
Experience
* Solicitor: 3–5 years PQE
* Paralegal: Minimum 3 years’ practical experience in Family Law

Salary Package: £35,000 plus commission (dependent on experience and role)
Requirements
* Solicitor: Qualified solicitor with 3–5 years PQE in Family Law.
* Paralegal: Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrable experience handling family law matters.
* Law degree or equivalent legal qualification. LPC / BPC required for solicitors.
* Strong working knowledge of private family law and relevant legislation.
* Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision.
* Strong computing and technological skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a digital legal environment.
* Proven familiarity with case management systems, particularly LEAP, for file management, billing, and compliance.
* Understanding of CRM systems, such as GoHighLevel (GHL), for client onboarding, communication, and workflow management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
* Competence in legal research and the effective use of legal software.
Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of private family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, and applications for non-molestation and occupation orders.
* Provide clear, practical, and legally sound advice to clients in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
* Draft and prepare legal documentation, including applications, statements, pleadings, court bundles, position statements, and skeleton arguments.
* Conduct detailed legal research and remain up to date with developments in family law and relevant procedural rules.
* Attend court hearings, directions appointments, and mediations as required (advocacy dependent on experience and qualification).
* Liaise professionally with clients, courts, counsel, experts, and opposing solicitors, managing expectations effectively.
* Work both independently and collaboratively within the team to ensure efficient case progression.
* Maintain accurate case management records, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
