About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to take ownership of daily operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who can drive efficiency, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth warehouse performance.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of stock control, team leadership, and workflow management. You'll play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining a safe and well-organised warehouse.
Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational targets
Oversee inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Maintain strong stock control processes, including cycle counts and discrepancy investigations
Ensure the warehouse remains safe, compliant, and well-organised
Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Work closely with transport teams, suppliers, and internal departments
Monitor KPIs and produce performance reports
Manage staffing levels, rotas, training, and performance reviews
Use warehouse systems effectively to maintain accurate data
Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Supervisor
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Forklift licence desirable but not essential
