Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging A-Level Physics Teacher lessons to students in Key Stage 5.
* Prepare students effectively for A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring a thorough understanding of advanced scientific concepts.
* Foster a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving in physics.
* Assess and monitor student progress in A-Level Physics, providing clear and constructive feedback as an A-Level Physics Teacher.
* Contribute to the delivery of the physics curriculum at Key Stage 5 and the creation of relevant resources.
* Encourage student participation in advanced physics projects and discussions.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong physics background.
* Demonstrated experience in teaching Physics at the secondary level, with a proven track record of success at A-Level.
* A strong and comprehensive knowledge of advanced physical principles and effective teaching methodologies for A-Level.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly and engagingly as an A-Level Physics Teacher.
* Ability to motivate and support high-achieving students in their study of A-Level Physics.
* A commitment to collaborative work and a supportive ethos within the science department.
