Assessment Centre Manager to provide leadership and oversight across our Assessment Centre based in Chesterfield. This pivotal role ensures services are delivered to the highest standards, balancing operational efficiency, compliance, and employee wellbeing.
What you’ll do
* Lead daily operations: Oversee assessments, administration, customer service, facilities, and health & safety, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
* Drive performance: Monitor Health Professionals against contractual Target Performance Levels (TPLs), audit requirements, and turnaround times, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
* Recruit and develop talent: Work with recruitment teams to attract, train, and retain Health Professionals. Support their professional growth with tailored development plans, appraisals, and succession planning.
* Ensure compliance: Maintain regional databases, oversee sign‑off processes, and embed the Clinical Governance Quality and Service Framework (CGQSF) into daily practice.
* Manage estates and facilities: Report on capacity and utilisation, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with statutory standards, IT infrastructure, and security systems.
* Champion employee engagement: Partner with HR to foster wellbeing, manage attendance and performance proactively, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Analyse and report data: Maintain management information systems, produce accurate reports, and communicate performance metrics to identify opportunities for service improvement.
* Handle customer concerns: Investigate complaints, elevate serious issues, and ensure customer service standards are consistently met.
* Promote innovation: Identify efficiencies, reduce costs, and implement process improvements to optimise business performance.
What we’re looking for

* Strong operational management background, ideally within healthcare or assessment services
* Ability to balance compliance, quality and performance targets
