Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Dundee

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time - 3 days per week, 22.5 Hours Per Week

About the role:

We are looking for a highly organised Accounts Administrator and playing a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

You will handle the financial operations, including processing transactions, managing invoices, payment runs and payroll. The role will also involve liaising with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting the wider team with administrative tasks as necessary.

This is a part-time role, 3 days per week (Between Mon-Thur) with flexibility in selecting working days, on-site and based in Dundee.

Key duties:

* Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Supplier payment runs accurately
* Credit control - Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve invoice or payment related queries
* Cash Book - Record all financial transactions within the accounting system
* Bank reconciliation
* Credit card reconciliation
* Maintain cash flow
* Preparation of VAT Returns (Quarterly) and submission to HMRC
* Monthly payroll
* Month end activities, year end activities and ad-hoc reporting as required
* Profit & Loss Accounts
* Journals, accruals, prepayments
* Balance control accounts

About you:

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Proficiency in MS Office including Excel
* Experience using accounting systems
* Experience in auditing
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
* Professional and confidential approach to financial information
