Children's Residential Support Worker - Cardiff Your new company We are looking to recruiting personable, flexible and motivated Children’s Support Workers to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the emotional care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of residents with varying degrees of mental issues of young people aged 15 - 19. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions. Your new role Working closely with the residents to manage their needs. This will involve some elements of personal care. You will be completing activities to promote and build self-esteem. The rota is very fluid and flexible with short shifts, long days and sleep-ins. What you\'ll need to succeed 6 months of residential experience is required for this role. However, training is provided, and driving is essential for this role. QCF Level 3 – Children and Young People or equivalent is essential for a senior position.
