Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically-minded Internal Sales Engineer to join a dynamic and growing engineering company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and excellent communication skills, who enjoys working closely with customers to provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to technical sales enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face. * Interpret customer requirements and design costed solutions. * Produce clear, accurate and competitive quotations/tenders. * Follow up on quotes to secure profitable orders. * Provide expert pre-sales technical support and product education. * Process orders and liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. * Maintain up-to-date records of enquiries, quotes and customer activity. * Build strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities. * Support Contracts, Engineering and Production teams as required. * Attend occasional site visits. Requirements: * Technical background (engineering, electronics, or similar). * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Commercially aware with a proactive approach to customer service. * Experience in a technical sales, internal sales, or applications engineer role. * Knowledge of electrical components (advantageous).
